I think that Marijuana is the most common reason why people are getting killed on the streets and or arrested. Either they are getting mad because of a drug deal gone bad or because someone snitched on them.

If you were caught in 1977 with Marijuana the law stated that you would be fined 500 dollars and on top of that you will have to go to jail for a minimum of 3 years it depends on how much marijuana you are caught with.

Who are the main people and race that gets caught with Marijuana and wines up getting arrested?

The article said that 85% is latinos and blacks. This goes for both male and females. Sometimes its not always males who are caught doing drugs, its also females. Most people wouldnt think that females would do it because of the fear of jail, but they would do it if they need the money, and or having struggles in life.

Marijuana is not just used by drug dealers, it can be perscribe to you by your doctor if there is nothing else to help the pain you are having.

Biggie Smalls ( Christopher Wallace ) was killed on March 9, 1997. He was killed by an unknow sorce and was shot multipuly times.

I think that a close friend has killed biggie because with the type of security that he had, not just any body could be able to get close to Christopher. Yes he was a drug dealer at a young age but it was because he had a single mother who was also trying to survive in Brooklyn.

Do you think Christopher should have died the way that he did?

In the movie  "Notorious" Biggie stayed " Drug dealing was like my wife but Rapping was like my side chick". I think that he should have just stuck with rapping because it would have got him into so much trouble, and he would have went to jail.

Should 16-year-olds drive?

This article "16-year-old drive?" is talking about many people's opinions on, if 16 year old should be able to get their licence at this age.

" i don't think it matters what age you, as long as you have the practice and experience." said Linnea Greci. Other people thinks differently. Lund thinks that the predominant cause of teen death is from motorcycle accidents and car accidents.

I think that 16 year-old should be able to get their permits but they can only 1 passenger with them, and they can not drive after 11 o'clock at night.

Moore stated, "I've driven with some people who are horrible drivers even though they've been driving for a while, and I've driven with some people who haven't been driving very long but are pretty good. Some people are ready and some people are not."

The other cause of car accidents is texting while driving. Its not just teens it is also people of many different ages.

So its not just teens who are making mistakes on the rodes & who would need more experience it is also older people who you would think knows how to drive and don't. If you are not ready to drive i think that you should just wait until you are really ready so that when you are on the rode driving, you are not puttimng your life in danger. Or anyone Else's.

That might help the percentage of killings in accidents decrease and it would not be an accident on the news everyday. Also when people are driving just take your time don't think that you are the only one on the rode there is many more.

• Do i need more experience?
• will i put my phone down when driving?

E News stated that Mariah Carey wanted to be the only female on the American Idol panel but unfortunately Nicki Minaj showed up, and she didn't like it. Mariah Carey said " I'm quick to check a B****." By Mariah disrespected Nicki by saying that nick responded to it with, "If you say one more disrespectful thing to me—off with your head!"

I think that by Mariah saying that, she is showing how immature she is and how much respect she have for her and her pears around her. It was very disrespectful, you would not anybody to talk to you like that, so therefore you should not talk to others in that way. Personally i do think that Nicki went to far with saying "If you say one more disrespectful thing to me----- off with your head!" She could have just told her if she disrespect me one more time there is going to be problems.

Nicki made a song about all of this that has happened and she says she just trying to keep it real.

I think if Mariah have never made that decision to say that then none of this what have when down in this type of direction. She should just deal with not being the only women on the American Idol panel and grow up.

I think that Barack Obama won because of how good his campaign was, and because he gave a lot of good answers to the most important questions.

Some people disagree with Obama winning his 2nd term, such as Burkhardt who who have preferred to have a businessman like Romney. Burkhardt said, "Obama is " not as smart or fiscally."

Obama has did alot for our country so for Burkhardt to say that he is not smart, is not correct.

"Its in gods hands, I think he would know how to get jobs and get  people back to work, " was Noreen kirkland against Romney. But she also stated that she respects the office of the president though.

In the past three years there has been some dangerous storms, such as Hurricane Sandy. Sandy was very damaging and dangerous. At least 80 people have died because of Hurricane Sandy.

Democrats have not been stating any information about how the climate has been changing rapidly. When its suppose to be hot (at least 80 degrees) in the summer, its have been at least 50 degrees. Nicholas D. Kristof from The New York Times stated, "If we can't see that something extraordinary is going on in the world around us, we are in trouble."

They need to begin to provide the economy with lots more information on climate changes because there is no way at all the the the percentage of articles that was giving information about this, dropped 41 percent.

Attention Disorder or Not, Pills to Help In School

In the article," Attention Disorder or Not, Pills to Help In School "is mainly stating how they would like to provide students with A.D.H.D with a pill that would help them focus in class and participate.

" People throughout the society think that the pill is too expensive to change the kid's environment, so we have to change the children." Stated Dr. Anderson.

Dr. Anderson is the person who had the suggestion that children who was diagnosed with A.D.H.D ( attention deficit hyperactivity disorder ) should be provided with the pill called Adderall. Adderall is a pill that provided the person that is taking it,  with energy and help them participate in class.

Some people believe that they reason that the children with A.D.H.D grades are not that good because of the fact that they parents are not able to afford tutoring and or family counseling.

I think that this pill is not a good idea because you don't know how the pill with react in the child's body system.

The article stated, "Quintn, 10 years-old, began to have hallucinations about things happening in school such as him getting into fights at school, him arguing with people because he thought that they was talking about his mother." It turned out that this was a side effect to the pill Adderall.

Dr. William Graf suggested that families should be able to choose their selves if their children would take the pill Adderall because of the side affects.

Dr. Anderson stated that he does not know the long term effects but he do know the short-term, but the Doctor should know all the effects from this drug because the pill could have  possibility that it might shorten a child's life you never know. And he just wants to provide children with it, to me i think this drug Adderall should not be provided what so ever.

Obama Backs Same-Sex Marriage

Most people dont like couples that are the same sex. Most people dont like when people of the same sex get married, they think its wrong. Not the President of the United States.

President Barack obama stated, “At a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married.’’

President obama has been a big support towards same-sex marriage, & he has been doing that for several years.

Many U.S. have amendments to their state constitutions which prevent the recognition of some or all types of same-sex unions.

I personally think that people who marry of the same-sex is not bad because if you really love that person, then you should be able to be commited and spend the rest of their lives with them.

Barack obama stated that there are gay soldiers, airmen marines and sailors who are out there fighting on his behalf.

People who have lovers of the Same-Sex & who want to get married should have equal rights as those who marry people of opposite sex.

As Barack is ok with Same-Sex marriages, republican Mitt Romney is against it and who like to put a stop to it.

Romney has also said he would fight for a federal constitutional ban on gay marriage, and would preserve the Defense of Marriage Act, and President Barack obama does not agree with him and trying to not let that happen and fight for gay rights.

50% of americans believe that people of the Same-Sex should get married.

There you have it, i think if President Barack Obama stay in Office he would make the right that would satify those people of the united states. I think that Mitt Romney would make choses that he believe would satify the citizens of the U.S, & in reality would not help/satify.

Texting May Be Taking A Toll

 In the article, "Texting May Be Taking A Toll by Katie Hafner" the author is discussing how texting is a huge distraction on children.

Do you think that this generation of children is getting affected by texting?Who you limit the amount of time that your child is on his/her phone?

Well according to the survey took by Dr. Martin Joffe, many students have been sending over 1,000 messages a day. Which means that sudents most likely are staying up beyond the time that they should be sleep. Which means they are not getting a good amount of sleep, and not having a good amount of rest can effect your school work.

The amount of text messages tht are being sent/recieved  every day at least 2,272 text messges  per month.Texting can also cause alot of problems such as musculoskeletal disorders. A musculoskeletal disorder is a diease that effects your joits, liaments and etc.

 I think that children should not be on their phones for a long period of time, i think parents shouldn't have their children on there phones 24/7 , because of the problems behind texting.

I also think that parents should keep an eye one HOW many message they are sending a day and who they are sending the messgaes to.

Teachersshould also pay careful attention because while the students are in class they are pretending like they are going in they book bag and they are really textin during calss, and not getting their class work done. Which is making most students fail.

Do i blame the Teachers? .... Not really because the children should know when is a ok time to text, and when it is not.

Do I blame the parents? .... Kind of, because they should be more awhere of who they children are texting, how long they stay up at night texting, and how many messages they children is sending a day.

         This article is about all Schools throughtout the school that have been cheating & why they have been cheating. Evidence has been discovered that the problem with students cheating got worst over the last couple decades. Cheating became more easier and widely tolerated.

         The main problem with cheating is technology. Technology has became a huge part in cheating because student can go on the internet to copy and paste , which has also loosened some ides of authorship. Another way that they can use technology is by texting, the students can share answers with each other through message.

          The students that do cheat, are not really getting anything out of it they are just putting they selves more more & more behind and when they need information in the future they are not going to know whats going on.

           " I dont think there's any question that students have become more competitive, under more pressure, & , as a result, tend to excuse more from themselves and other students, allowed by adults around them. " Professor Donald L. McCabe stated.

           You would think that the students that do not pay attention in class and dont turn anything in would be the students that be mainly cheating, but studies show that more & more students that are cheating are the student that have Honor Roll ( A's & B's).

          Also experts are not just blaming the students for cheating they are also blaming the parents because they have trouble accepting that their kids make mistakes & fail, & when they do, they tend to blame someone else.

         I think that everyone cheats , nobody in the world cant say that not once in they life that they didnt not cheat on something, i know i cant because i cheated when i forgot to answer a question for homework so i copied of another student. I learned my lesson because that person's answer wasnt correct .

          Nobody's perfect, but i do think that cheating is wrong because your not using your brain, your using some else brain.
